Over last two years, 80 GPs have successfully participated in the Mid-Career scheme is targeted to support GPs as a preventative measure to avoid burn out and to support with workload by providing backfill capacity to enable the GP to focus on a quality improvement/CPD project of their choice.
A further cohort of 45 GPs commenced in June linked to restoration and recovery of services and further cohorts are being planned.
