NHSEI have cited the BSol New to General Practice Fellowship Scheme as a national ‘exemplar’ and a video case study is being co-produced to promote the programme to future GPs.
To date, 43 Fellows are undertaking the ground-breaking programme in two cohorts with a planned third cohort to take in newly-qualified GPs for the Autumn.
The programme provides Fellows with access to; GP Mentorship, Peer Support and CPD opportunities as well as involved with Primary Care Network initiatives and projects in areas such Digital, Care Homes, Cancer, Social Pressure and Covid.
A GP Careers Fair showcased the scheme which has been widely praised by local GPs from across Birmingham and Solihull.
